Reducing the environmental impact of our activities and supporting projects and initiatives for environmental improvement.
The VAPF Group, together with other companies, sponsored the "Colosos del Mediterráneo 2022" event at the Moraira Nautical Club.
This exclusively scientific event was co-organised by the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (I.E.O.) and the Moraira Nautical Club, and around twenty vessels authorised by the General Secretariat for Fisheries collaborated in it.
Grupo VAPF has handed out, completely free, 500 Stainless Steel flasks to the students at Lady Elizabeth Senior School, so that they can take them to school and refill them from the spring water machines or from the fountains that the school puts at their disposal. This way we are cutting down on single use plastics.
At VAPF Group, as an internal standard, we do not carry out projects whose energy rating is under B, trying, as long as the architectonic design allows for it, to reach an energy rating of A. Our last project, which consists of 27 luxury apartments, BLUE INFINITY Block B, has the maximum A energy rating.
In order to obtain the maximum energy rating, we use highly efficient technologies that improve the quality of the edification and promote innovation and sustainability.
All of the VAPF Group development companies have managed to achieve the 100% Green Energy Certificate granted by the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC in Spanish) and by Fenie Energía, S.A. , which ensures that the amount of energy consumed by our developers comes from sources that are 100% renewable, which means that is comes from electricity production facilities using renewable, cogeneration or waste sources.
VAPF Group is committed to developing and promoting technologies, processes and products which permit improved energy efficiency and sustainability; proof of this commitment is the installation of the Altherma system in all our constructions, that allows us to obtain Heating, Air Conditioning and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) by drawing energy from outside air. This innovative system only requires 1kW of electricity to produce from 3 to 5kW of heat. In other words, between 66% and 80% of the heat produced by the Altherma system comes from outside air and is, therefore, free.
Improved heat and sound insulation and replacement of air conditioning systems in VAPF Group central offices, resulting in energy savings and a smaller CO2 footprint.
VAPF Group supports reforestation of damaged areas and protection in areas of high ecological value in the areas where we work
