Costa Blanca North Agreement with Airlines
The municipalities of Teulada-Moraira and Calpe keep on working hard to boost the touristic industry for this 2017, focusing its initiatives to promote Costa Blanca Norte towns in the international and national media, since tourism is one of the main economic motor in the area.
Teulada-Moraira City signed an agreement with Iberia Airlines to promote the municipality in “Ronda Iberia”, one of the most important airlines international magazines, which reaches 2 million people each month in more than 50 countries. “Ronda Iberia” can be found on all Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum flights as well as in the VIP lounges located in Madrid airport and other 57 spots of the international airports halls network of Iberia.
On the other hand, Calpe City Council reached an agreement with Jet2.com -second largest tour operator in the United Kingdom- with which is expected to triple the arrival of British tourists to Calpe in 2017. Last year this British tour operator brought to Alicante 200,000 tourists, of whom 8,000 spent their holidays in Calpe. The agreement with Jet2.com includes Calpe advertising in the airline in-flight magazine, on radio stations, on the Jet2com website and as a part of the mailings they send to their customers.
