At VAPF we are committed with sustainability and respect for the environment.
Waste management is a fundamental pillar in the construction environment. Therefore, following the regulations outlined in Law 7/2022 of April 8, on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy, we have implemented new measures to ensure proper waste management.
Separating for recycling
From each VAPF construction site, we separate the waste we generate according to its material, and we transport it to waste management plants, which are responsible for recycling each type of waste in an authorized treatment facility
With this system, we ensure that the generated waste, at a minimum of 70%, can be recycled and used afterward.
Each waste container is removed from the construction site with assigned traceability. With this, we can track each waste, knowing how much waste we have generated, how much has been recycled, and how much CO2 we have avoided.
Avoiding landfills
Proper management of these contributes to promoting material circularity. Giving materials a second life reduces the amount of waste ending up in landfills, thus avoiding soil pollution and waste accumulation
Training for operators
All our employees and subcontractors are already familiar with this separation process. They all contribute to the best possible execution of the process, which allows us to achieve a much higher recovery than the 70% required by the regulations. Together with the transportation companies and waste management plants, we are contributing to a cleaner world and better material circularity.
At VAPF, we appreciate your efforts, and we look forward to meeting new challenges together.
