Cycling Route to Puig de la Llorenca
The Puig de la LLorença (located at Cumbre del Sol Residential Estates / Poble Nou de Benitatxell) is already a top cyclist spot thanks to the Tour of Spain stage that takes place in the route up to the top, and that will be again the place chosen for the 9th stage of the 2017 Tour.
The climb to Puig de la Llorença offers step slopes up to the summit, where you can enjoy overwhelming views of the Costa Blanca, with Cumbre del Sol developement in the foreground and The Mediterranean sea background.
This route has a distance of 10.3km, with an accumulated elevation of 320 meters. The road is made of asphalt and the difficulty is high.
