Our clients are always accompanied and advised with the honesty and professionalism that defines us throughout the whole sales process. From the first day of construction to the very last, where we deliver a complete home ready to live in. How do we do this? Offering personalised care throughout each stage of construction and showing the home’s progress using our Extranet, so that the client can see the current development at any moment. After this, once the keys are handed over, we’ll continue to be by the client’s side, helping them with what we can: document management, enrolling children in school…

After handing over the keys, we continue to offer our clients a complete after-sales service to guarantee that they’re fully satisfied and that they always enjoy their new life in the Costa Blanca.

 

Before delivering the keys

We want to your new home to be perfect. That’s why before officially handing over the keys, the technician in charge of the home will visit to revise and check all of the rooms, installations, and household appliances thoroughly one by one, assuring that everything is working properly.

 

The Big Day

We provide you with one night’s accommodation to make your trip as comfortable as possible. On the day of handing over the keys, all useful information will be handed over to you too, as well as any other aspects needed for you to adapt as soon as possible to your new life:

  • Instruction manual for the home and/or swimming pool.
  • Manuals for electrical appliances and their corresponding guarantee certificates.
  • Keys to the mailbox and the shed in which they are located.
  • Emergency telephone operating manual for possible problems with electricity, water or gas.
  • List of useful telephone numbers and TV channels.
  • For apartments: statutes of the community, details of the president and administrator of the community.
  • Contact and location of the notary’s office.

In addition to signing all the documentation for the direct debiting of taxes and services for your property, we take care of the management.

 

Other after-sales services

 

Key safekeeping

VAPF offers you a free key safekeeping service which consists of us keeping a copy of the keys so that, in the event of an emergency, and if you are unable to go to the property, we can come to your place. If you travel to Spain and you realise that you have left your keys behind in your country, we will keep a copy so that you can enter your home without any difficulty.

For your maximum satisfaction and peace of mind, the safekeeping service includes a history of who has had them at any given time.

 

Free one-year insurance

We will also give you and deliver the contract of an insurance policy for the building for a whole year.

 

We manage the services of your new home

So that you don’t have to worry, we will also take care of your electricity and water bills. We’ll also offer you the possibility of contracting the telephone and/or internet service. We’ll explain everything to you: what the service offers, fees, rates, calls… And, if you want to think about it in your time, we will leave you a brochure with all the updated information.

On the same day, the property will be checked again with you and an employee from the VAPF after-sales department. They will check that all these aspects are in order:

  • Electrical supply and appliances
  • Plumbing
  • Furnishings
  • Paintwork
  • Heating and air conditioning in all rooms.
  • Gas
  • Home domotics
  • Apps
  • Sonos
  • Video surveillance
  • Swimming pool and exteriors

Take your time, if you notice any damage, it’s important that you let us know. An inspection visit will take place a few days later to deal with these issues and resolve them.

As we’ve said in this article, and as demonstrated throughout these 59 years of creating homes, we accompany and advise our clients throughout the entire process. After handing over the keys, you’ll have a VAPF contact person to discuss any type of problem or query related to your home.
