Real Estates Sales in Spain
The Valencia Commission for the Promotion of home sales to foreigners has recently published data related to estate transactions where we could see the leading position of the Region in selling homes to foreigners during 2013 last quarter.
Valencian Region established as the leader in Spain in home sales to foreigners with 33.6% of the national total sales (13,436 home sold). The second place went to Andalucía with 19.9 %, followed by Catalonia with 15.5 %, Canary Islands with 11.3 % and Balearic Islands with 6.5 %.
83% of the 13,436 housing transactions in the Valencia region at the end of last year were carried out in the province of Alicante.
Second home tourism is one of the main activities in Spain of citizens coming from the United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium and Russia.
