BonAm Restaurant

BonAm Restaurant

The Northern Costa Blanca is consolidated as a tourist destination and high level residential location, as we can see in facts such its quality cuisine that each day gains more international recognition.

The latest good news comes on the heels of Bon Amb Restaurant -located in the Jávea-Benitachell road-, recently awarded with its first Michelin star. This great news puts the restaurant and the town of Jávea on the international dining scene.

Bon Amb -opened two years ago with Alberto Ferruz in the kitchen and Pablo Catala in the direction- is located at the roundabout of the Benitachell road by the Cami de Cabanes .

Ferruz is 29 and has been working in kitchens for almost 15 of them. He worked with Martin Berasategui, Quique Dacosta and Tomas Arribas, until he got the opportunity to open Bon Amb, a restaurant with its own herbal garden and specialized in local produce which has earned his first Michelin star.

In a press release, the Michelin guide refer to Bon Amb as “an updated traditional cuisine with creative touches”.

This restaurant joins the list of Michelin stars in the province of Alicante leaded by Quique Dacosta (Denia) with three Michelin stars and followed by Monastrell (Alicante), L’ Escaleta (Concentaina), Casa Alfonso (Dehesa de Campeamor), La Villa (Elche) and Casa Pepa (Ondara), all restaurants with a Michelin star.
