Moraig beach, de los Tiestos cove and el Llebeig cove, treasures on the Mediterranean coast.

The orography of Benitachell features cliffs over 100 metres high, plunging down to the sea below. This is the perfect place to discover marine nature in the numerous caves and grottoes in the municipality, and to practise water sports such as sailing, diving or scuba diving, surrounded by a landscape that is pretty, enchanting, well cared for and with much history.

• Los Tiestos cove: a small, hidden away cove 100 metres wide and 150 metres long. It can be reached either from the sea or along a footpath which offers great natural beauty and views along the coastline. Calm, clean waters are our reward on arriving here.
  
  
• Llebeig cove: a small cove with crystalline waters, situated on the border of Benitachell with Teulada-Moraira. It can be reached from the sea or along various rambling routes such as the Cliff Path which goes from el Moraig to Llebeig cove, or from Moraira there is another route, the Portet de Moraira route to Llebeig cove. A well deserved reward for lovers of nature and rambling. Llebeig cove: a Mediterranean paradise.
  
  
• El Moraig beach: ideal for swimming, diving and scuba diving, with outstanding water quality and cleanliness. El Moraig beach is 250 metres long and 40 metres wide, with unusual coarse sand and pebbles. There is a lifeguard service, vehicular access and car park, it is well signposted, regularly cleaned and there are hammock and skate hire facilities as well as a bar and beachfront restaurant. The coastline is of limestone, which the waters have carved into caves and other striking geological formations. In addition to the attractive features of el Moraig beach itself there is the “Cova del Arcs” (Cave of Arches), a marvel of nature and the entry point to the el Moraig Underwater Route. Access to el Moraig beach is through the Cumbre del Sol development along the General Playa road, signposted from the entrance to the development.
