On 31 January 2010, multi-challenge activity in Castell de Castells as part of the ‘Get Carried Away 2010’ active tourism programme.
The active tourism programme ‘Get Carried Away 2010’ is organised by Benissa Town Council Tourism Department and the Vall del Pop association of municipalities Benissa, Alcalalí, Benigembla, Castell de Castells, Lliber, Murla, Parcent, Senija and Xaló. The programme includes 8 activities suitable for everyone and combines recreational, cultural and tourism activities, specifically guided rambling excursions by day and by night, taking in different natural spaces and features of the municipalities mentioned above, multi-challenge activities, bike excursions, kayaking, launch and catamaran trips, snorkelling and guided dramatised tours.
On Sunday 31 January a multi-challenge activity will take place in Castell de Castells: a caving activity in the style of ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’, a combination of science and adventure where you can discover a subterranean world of narrow passageways, mysterious shafts, etc.
The activity will last around half a day and its difficulty level is classed as medium-low, meeting point and time is the entrance to Castell de Castells at 09:00h, the cost of the caving excursion is 35€ and includes qualified guides and monitors, sports experts, technical material, photos of the activity and insurance.
You must provide your own transport, comfortable sportswear, water and snack, sunscreen and hat, windproof jacket, hiking boots and ID document.
