In Benissa, exhibitions, concerts and theatre plays have been organised for the month of December 2008.
The Nativity Scene Exhibition in the Art Centre “Taller d’Ivars” is one of the most popular Christmas events offered by the town. The exhibition is organised by the association, “Amics del Betlem de la Marina”, and Benissa’s Councillorship for Culture. The opening hours are Monday to Friday afternoons from 17:30 to 19:30 h., Saturday and Sunday mornings from 11:00 to 13:30 h and afternoons from 18:00 to 20:30 h. On the 6th and 7th of December the exhibition will open to the public from 18:00 to 20:30 h. On the 24th, 25th and 31st of December and the 1st of January, the exhibition will remain closed. We can enjoy the Nativity Scene Exhibition from the 30th of November 2008 to the 4th of January 2009.
The Christmas Concert given by the Coral Benissenca y Orquesta de Cámara will be held on the 13th of December, with interpretations of works by Mozart and Handel, under the direction of Javier Santacreu. We can enjoy the concert in the Art Centre “Taller d’Ivars” at 20:00 h. An event organised by the Coral Benissenca in collaboration with the Town Councillorship for Culture.
The Didactic Concert “La Dipu y Ruralcaja en el Cole y la Música”, aimed at Benissa’s school children, will be given by the Orquesta Barroca Valenciana on the 15th of December in the Art Centre “Taller d’Ivars” at 10:00 h. It is organised by the Town Councillorship for Culture and sponsored by the Council of Alicante.
Children’s theatre on the 21st of December 2008 with the play “Pista” by Rossana Mira, performed by Engrata Compañía de Teatre, in the auditorium Centro Cultural at 12:00 h. Free entrance. An event organised by the Town Councillorship for Culture.
An abundance of cultural events mostly aimed at the little ones so that they can spend this Christmas enjoying and learning with music and culture. An important initiative organised by Benissa’s Councillorship for Culture.
