The province of Alicante, with its temperate climate and sunny days, offers us landscapes full of vineyards which produce the very individual wines of the Alicante appellation of origin.

The province offers us a number of options and routes for discovering its towns and villages and for enjoying its wine cellars and wine tasting opportunities.

In the Marina Alta area, in the towns of Benissa, Teulada, Jalón and Parcent, we can visit wineries closely linked to tourism in the area closest to the Mediterranean; from the large Teulada and Jalón Cooperatives to the smallest family-run cellars such as Bodegas Parcent. Bodegas Parcent offers us the opportunity to visit their cellars and discover their wines and, furthermore, if you are a member of the Amigos del Sol Club, Bodegas Parcent has a gift for you. Then there is the Enrique Mendoza Winery in Alfaz del Pí that offers organised tours and wine tasting on a very beautiful estate.

Vinalopó Medio offers us a route that goes from Monóvar to Pinoso, a large valley full of vineyards and one of the most individual landscapes in the whole area. Along this route we can visit Bocopa Winery, which offers oenotourism with guided tours, wine tasting, etc. In Monóvar, two wineries offer us their winemaking traditions, Primitivo Quiles and Salvador Poveda. Next on the route is Pinoso, where we will find small wineries such as Viña Prado, Sanbert and El Sequé. From Pinoso you can join the Jumilla Wine Route across Las Cañadas.

Another route that we can enjoy in Alicante is the one that joins the wineries in Villena together, where we can visit the large winemaking estates such as Mendoza and Serrata, discover Salinas Valley and arrive at Sierra Salinas Winery with its highly valued red wines. In the same town are the wineries of Terra Natura, Lentiscares and Nuestra  Señora de las Virtudes.
