An opportunity to discover and explore the Historical Centre of Benissa and try out a fun, functional type of transport – the Segway XT.

Working with Benissa Town Council Tourism Department, Turarac Active Tourism Company has designed a Segway route which runs through the Historical Centre of Benissa, combining tradition and modernity.

This route lets us enjoy the monuments, the character of the streets, the shops and the gastronomy choices, along with the hospitality of the local folk, taking all this in on a fun, intuitive, self-balancing and green personal transporter: the Segway XT.

Along the route we will be able to enjoy all the town’s monuments, in a perfect state of conservation and a delight for the visitor.

Next scheduled departures from Paseo Dolores Piera on:

Saturday 8 and 22 November 2008 at 17:00h.
Thursday 6 and 20 November 2008 at 17:00h.

The route takes two hours and covers 2295 metres. It costs 36€ and this price includes Segway for route accompanied by guide, entrance to church, monastery, Abargas historical museum house, cured meat tasting and glass of wine.
