Next weekend, 24 – 26 October, we have a date with the last race of the 2008 World Motorcycle Racing Grand Prix.
The racing season closes in the Community of Valencia at the Ricardo Tormo Speedway Circuit in Cheste. Prizes for the 2008 World Championship will be presented in Valencia Ocean Park, where we can enjoy seeing Motorcycle Grand Prix’s biggest stars.
A weekend to enjoy watching all the world championship motorcycle racers in action, with Spanish racers competing in each cc category:
Motorcycle Grand Prix:
Dani Pedrosa, Toni Elías and Jorge Lorenzo.
250cc:
Héctor Barbera, Álvaro Bautista, Daniel Arcas, Héctor Faubel, Julián Simón, Manuel Hernández, Aleix Espargaro and Alex Debou.
125cc:
Joan Olive, Efrén Vázquez, Esteve Rabat, Nicolás Perol, Pablo Nieto, Adrián Martín, Enrique Jerez, Pere Tutusaus, Sergio Gadea, Pol Espargaro, Marc Márquez.
A full weekend for which a large number of parallel activities have been organised, such as the Minimoto Masters, night-time events, restaurant area, fairground and campsite next to Cheste sports centre.
FRIDAY 24 October 2008: action starts on Friday morning with the training sessions for the 3 world championship categories 125cc, 250cc and Motorcycle Grand Prix. Also on Friday are the two classifying races for the Red Bull Riders Cup and the first race of the Bancaza Mini Grand Prix and XL.
SATURDAY 25 October 2008: the classifying races for the 125cc, 250cc and Motorcycle Grand Prix will be held. Also on Saturday are the Red Bull Riders Cup and the second race of the Bancaza Mini Grand Prix and XL.
SUNDAY 26 October 2008: the Community of Valencia Grand Prix. The 125cc race starts at 11:00h, the 250cc race at 12:15h and the last race of the 2008 World Motorcycle Racing Grand Prix season starts at 14:00h.
The 2008 World Motorcycle Racing Championship prize ceremony will be held in the Ocean Park, where we can enjoy seeing Motorcycle Grand Prix’s biggest stars.
