The Cultural Department of Benissa Town Council has organised a summer cinema programme from 15 July to 23 August.

The Benissa films offer the additional treat of being able to be enjoyed either in the “Cinema al Carrer” in Plaza Hermanos Ivars in Benissa town centre,  or in “La Mar de Cine” on Fustera beach, one of Benissa’s beaches. Two options for Tuesdays and Thursdays that put films in everyone’s reach.

The films selected are suitable for all viewers and are free. The summer programme is as follows.

JULY

• Tuesday 15 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: Bee Movie (in Valencian).
• Thursday 17 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Silver Surfer.
• Tuesday 22 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: El Novio de mi Madre (My Mother’s Boyfriend).
• Thursday 24 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Hasta que el cura nos separe (Licence to Wed).
• Tuesday 29 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: Miss Potter.
• Thursday 31 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Más extraño que la ficción (Stranger Than Fiction).

AUGUST

• Tuesday 5 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: Papa Canguro 2 (Daddy Day Camp).
• Thursday 7 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Ocean’s Thirteen.
• Tuesday 12 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
• Thursday 14 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Locos por el Surf (Surf’s Up).
• Tuesday 19 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: La Reina de Bollywood (My Bollywood Bride).
• Thursday 21 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Diario de una Niñera (The Nanny Diaries).
• Tuesday 26 at 22:00 h. Cinema al Carrer: Ratatouille (in Valencian).
• Thursday 28 at 22:00 h. La Mar de Cine: Sin Reservas (No Reservations).
