SECOND YEAR OF OPERATION OF THE SPECIAL AREAS ON THE COSTA BLANCA
For three months, the ten areas located in eight towns of the province Alicante have been working.

What are the icons for sending or sharing?
This are Web services popularly known as social bookmarkers.
Social bookmarks are a simple and popular way to store, categorize and share links on the Internet or an Intranet. Send comments and other content (news aggregator).

Digg is a website based on community participation in which subscribers send stories that other users of the site (registered or not) can vote, voted to promote more to the main page.

Wikio is a participative service: you can publish an article or comment directly on Wikio vote and an item that already exists.

Mr Wong and Yahoo Bookmarks are social bookmarking sites. They Allow you to add markers that are traditionally kept in browsers and categorize with a labeling system.

| Both MySpace and Facebook are sites of interaction form the personal profiles of users that includes networks of friends, groups, blogs, photos, videos and music, plus an internal messaging network that enables a user to communicate with others and a search engine internally. |

The Special Areas of the Costa Blanca, a program aimed at the mentally disabled and their families, concluded their services last September 17th, after having served during the summer almost thousand persons with this kind of handicap. This initiative has been a referent of the adapted tourism, attracting families from different places inside and outside Spain, that decide to plan their holidays in those towns where the disabled have more support to enjoy and become involved in their surroundings.
The 10 Special Areas Costa Blanca are a project by the Provincial Tourist Board and the Town Halls of the participating towns: Dénia, Calpe, Villajoyosa, El Campello, Alicante, Santa Pola, Orihuela and Pilar de la Horadada. This initiative aims the integration of the group of mentally disabled in the beaches of the province Alicante, as well as the opportunity for relatives and tutors to enjoy of some free time during the summer.
