Die nordamerikanische Zeitschrift “Wine Spectator”, die sich auf die Welt des Weines spezialisiert hat, hat eine Liste veröffentlicht, in der alle Weine erfaβt sind, die das Niveau aufweisen, um sich unter den Besten des Jahres 2007 zu befinden.
Die Weine werden von 85 bis 100 benotet, wobei der beste spanische Wein Torre Muga 2005 ist und la Rioja Platz 11 in der Endklassifizierung einnimmt. Diesem folgen in herausragender Form Lan 2004 la Rioja, Pago de los Capellanes 2004 Ribera del Duero, Castro de Valtuille 2004 von Bierzo, Tres Picos 2005 Campo de Borja und Pétalos 2005 von Bierzo.
Das ist eine erfreuliche Nachricht für ganz Spanien und auch für unsere Provinz Alicante, wo man einige exzellente Weine mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis herstellt.
Als Beispiel sei dafür die Bodega von Enrique Mendoza in Alfáz del Pi oder der Weiswein Marina Alta der Bodegas Bocopa genannt.
